What is Direct Learning?
Direct Learning is a teaching method that ITG has developed over the past 25 years that is proven to lead to continuous behavior and process change and self-correction. This method is based on synthesizing intellectual concepts with emotional experiences in the classroom. This results in an embedded and subconscious awareness of the concept that automatically leads to behavior change in participants. While most training companies focus entirely on the transmission of concepts to participants, we focus on creating a context for participants that makes concepts meaningful at the personal emotional level. This Direct Learning results in consistent performance improvement because it means that participants walk away from ITG experiences with, not merely information, but knowledge.
